Who can Donate?

The TEP Foundation, Inc. accepts donations from everyone! As a 501(c)(3) our fundraising encompasses contributions from Tau Epsilon Phi Alumni, Friends, Family, and beyond.

Why Does The TEP Foundation, Inc. Exist?

​

The TEP Foundation, Inc. is the 89-year old charitable arm of Tau Epsilon Phi Fraternity. The foundation exists to encourage charitable donations which go toward fulfilling the mission statement of our incorporation. Donations are in turn given back to undergraduate and alumni brothers in the form of Scholarship, Award, & Education. The

TEP Foundation, Inc. may also sponsor or co-sponsor educational programing with Tau Epsilon Phi National.

Who Benefits from My Donations? 

​

The TEP Foundation, Inc. like all Non-Profit 501(c)(3) organizations has a Mission Statement. Our Mission Statement is to provide Scholarship, Award, & Education to our valued undergraduate and alumni Brotherhood. We also offer “Need-Based" Grants for educational resources like textbooks or other expenses. Through your generous contribution we can more effectively assist our core benefactors in designated educational areas.

Who Manages the The TEP Foundation, Inc.? 

​

The TEP Foundation, Inc. is an independently managed volunteer 501(c)(3) organization. The operations of which are overseen by The Board of Trustees. Trustees are TEP Alumni who come from all walks of life, socio-economic backgrounds, collegiate alma maters , and professional careers. Trustees are elected to serve on the board and are tasked to enact policy, set budgets, strategize fundraising, disburse scholarships, and more. Officers are elected to serve a term of three (3) years for the organization. Trustee Emeritus are appointed by the Board of Trustees who serve as advisors having prior success and tangible experience with our operations. Official Meetings are held on call of the President whereby logistics and other vital tasks, projects, and/or goals are set to perpetuate our Mission Statement.

Where Do my Donations go Toward? 

​

Donations are allocated to various mission statement objects. As a donor you may specifically designate a contribution to an existing or new area of interest offered by The TEP Foundation, Inc. 

​

Are Donations Tax-Deductible? 

​

Yes! As a registered 501(c)(3) [EIN 13-6161286] all donations are tax-deductible*. We recommend speaking with a Licensed Tax-Professional or Securities Broker as they can best guide your individual decision. The TEP Foundation, Inc.  does our best to promote, adhere to, and provide maximum tax-benefit for  all future donors. Questions regarding donor benefits can be answered on the I.R.S website and/or a license professional.
